Welcome to the brand new Animal Language Institutes online classroom. We already have a couple of courses up and running and several more in development so feel free to look around.

    This lesson covers the basics of digital audio file formats like MP3 and WAV. We discuss the differences, what is the right format for the right situation, and why one may be better then the other.
  • Digital Audio Recording Parameters 101
    This course allows guest users to enter  
    If you already know a little about digital audio file formats, then the next step is to understand the basics of the recording formats. We will discuss topics like bit depth, sampling rate, frequency, amplitude, and even compare stereo and monaural.

This is the classroom portal of the Animal Language Institute. The purpose is to provide education in various aspects of animal language, communication, and behavior research.
